The Utopia of Worldview Interaction Systems

Many inter-personal, inter-national and inter-regional conflicts seem to have its roots in a certain kind of incompatibility of worldviews and the structures that are built on top of them. Such incompatibility is not necessarily problematic, but when it produces destructive relationships it definitely is. It is specifically problematic when many of the people embedded in a social system do not even hold the conflict-producing worldviews but due to structural dependencies have to reproduce them. Many of today's worldviews do not emerge within social systems with clearly defined mental frames and rather through cross-cultural relationships. But for some reason many people in power do not seem to be part of these relationships. With the emergence of algorithmic curation systems, a perfect tool for preventing worldview interactions has emerged. To me it seems like worldview interaction systems are becoming increasingly utopian and more and more attempts to cognitive isolation are emerging. Some people have the privilege to access worldview interaction systems. Just think of exchange programs. They are an effective worldview interaction system because they enable in-depth experiences of other worldviews outside one's cultural constraints. They offer space where new empathetic projections onto reality can emerge. Exchange programs can exist in one context but are totally utopian within other contexts. What if there would be similar worldview interaction systems for the social regeneration of the deeply ingrained conflicts of our time? Worldviews are no rigid binaries, they can interact and through their interactions produce new emerging properties. Though, currently it seems like there is little interaction and little emergence, just domination of one static frame over another.
